Details
The cloth
The cocoa is a deep brown with warmth in it rather than grey. The cloth is dry to the touch and easy in the heat and it gives the embroidery a quiet ground.
The hand work
Each anthurium is filled in with pink and white beads, with a yellow beaded centre and a long green beaded stem. The flowers sit low on one trouser leg and the shirt has matching beadwork at the yoke.
Wear it
The colour is dark enough for evening and light enough for day. Wear it to a dinner or a festive afternoon or to the office with the shirt tucked in and a flat shoe.
