The cloth
The cotton has enough body to hold the line of the shift a little away from you. It keeps its shape through the day.
The hand work
The flowers are drawn in ivory thread and fine beads, tone on tone, so they show as texture more than colour. They run down the front of the dress.
Wear it
Hot days, from morning into the evening: a working day, a lunch, a holiday. Wear flat sandals by day and a stack of gold bangles at night.
